Cork 2.0.0 Release Candidate is out!

Hopefully everything will go well

I’ll keep it short: If no further bugs are found, this will be the 2.0.0 release. Now, for the changes.

Additions

• More prominent workflow for defining a custom host for a tap

  

• Badge for taps that use Speakeasy by Graham Hall for tap management

  

• More efficient package detection algorithm to fix almost all stuttering throughout Cork when packages were changed, or background updates triggered

• Various under-the-hood optimizations, leading to a 12% decrease in general RAM usage

  

Fixes

• Added missing icon for “Remove tap“ button

  

Adjustments

• New icon for Casks to make it easier to distinguish at smaller sizes (for an upcoming feature in another release…)

  

• Unified subtitle look for outdated and adoptable package sections on the Start Page
